The others have stars, we have the whole Galaxy

Exceptionally talented Slovak sculptor, who perceives her art with every new reflection of bronze, the author of the world's awarded sculptural treasures, called Galaxy by friends - this is Jana Brisudová (35) - a woman who perceives unperceived.

The art is considered not to be very promising profession, however, Jana Brisudová certainly understands that art is not only work, but the mission. She surrendered to its impact in her early childhood when her fascination for clay and possibilities for its modification became stronger.

Tibor Bártfay, living legend of Slovak sculpture, is not only her teacher, but he gave direction to Jana´s unceasing thoughts to materialize everything that she sees, feels and loves. Jana Brisudová is his last student and their common inspiration comes from classics and beauty of the world. In her art she combines elements of mythology with the symbolism of today, what gives her sculptures sensuality. If you look at her work, you remember all the forgotten beauty of life.

It is not only Slovakia who admires this young and talented woman. What´s more, also the people from Italian Porto Sant´Elpidio succumbed to her creations on 10th anniversary of International Exhibition San Crispino in the year 2008 when she was awarded by "Giovanni Emergenti". Two years later she got third price in international professional critics ex aequo on the international exhibition Perla dell´Adriatico. Currently she exhibites within the Artists Association of Slovakia and her works are part of private collection of foreign art lovers, too. She uses to say, that her works should go their own way.

The woman called Galaxy, looking at the world from another perspective, teaches that you should feel the art, see it and touch it. She claims that not the aim, but the way how to get there is important and impossibility to create is something that doesn´t exist. As great are the ciphers into reliefs in the space, as mature are the statement about the world of this exceptionally talented woman. If you fall in love with her works it´s love for the whole life.
