The world has Il Divo, we have La Gioia

La Gioia... Three handsome, successful, talented singers, who combine not only two worlds – opera and pop, but they also bring concerts full of art, pleasure and unusual experiences.

They are often compared with the world known formation Il Divo. However La Gioia, two baritones Peter Ďurovec and Peter Ševčík and tenor Matej Vaník, goes its own way. It appeals to a wide slovak and czech audience thanks to modifications of czechoslovak hits to opera style. And like that it will be also on their new, already second CD called Per Te, what means For You. The editor is publishing house Global Music. The official introduction of CD will be held in Prague at palace Aventin on 7th June and famous Lucie Bíla, Michal David and Vašo Patejdl will become the godparents. The event will be supported in media by TASR.

On the brand new CD you can find 12 new well known slovak and czech songs, which are made-over to opera style. Some of them are translated to italian, for example La Noia or popular Il Viaggio. La Gioia fans can look forward to the upcoming series of concerts in autumn.

The world has Il Divo, we have La Gioia and sold out concerts and a lot of fans asking „When will you come next time?“. That´s a proof, that La Gioia´s role to bring joy has power, energy and chance for long life on a scene.
